ATA DivaD ATA: October 2014

A colleague lost her cat during the week. Her very timid cat only ever ventures out into their back garden. Her cat had been missing over night which was incredibly out of character. My colleague was distraught so I offered to create a 'Lost' poster in order to alert the public to the missing cat.

I hesitated before designing the poster as I felt that my design skills might be judged due to my background as a graphic designer. I then realised that an all singing, all dancing poster was not needed due to the nature of the theme. Had a designed a poster with whistles and bells, it may well have looked like a dance club poster.

Simple. Suitable for purpose. Mindful of target audience.
